Our auditions for 2021 are over!

Please check back with us later in the year for specific audition announcements. Feel free to submit your resume to us anytime for future consideration.

We are in search of peasants, pirates, fairies, lords and ladies of all body types, gender identities and experience backgrounds.

We are looking for bold, engaging performers who have additional skills as jugglers, acrobats, storytellers, circus performers, musicians and more. Performers with strong character acting and/or improv skills are strongly encouraged to attend.

About the Job:

The street cast works throughout the Festival day on the grounds, interacting and performing for patrons as members of our Professional Acting Company or as a member of our Apprentice troupe.

Apprentice positions are non-paid. Auditionees MUST have wide-ranging weekend availability January thru June. Rehearsals will be structured based on experience - expect at least four to six weekend rehearsals/commitments before the Festival opens.

What to Expect:

COVID19 SAFETY: We require everyone auditioning to wear a mask or face covering and to respect social distancing during the audition process. There will be hand sanitizer available, and the audition space will be disinfected frequently throughout the day.

This year's audition will consist of several components. Audition will consist of a cold read, character acting audition and a brief interview. If you have a performance talent or skill, please come prepared to show it off! If you have a prepared monologue, we would love to see/hear it!

If you play an instrument and would like to audition for a spot as a Festival musician, please prepare a 1-2 minute performance of a renaissance, pirate or Celtic song. If you are a musician in a group, please ensure that all members of your group are with you.

What to Bring:

Please bring your headshot and resume if you have one. Wear clothing you can move in - Renaissance costumes are not required.

If you are unable to attend auditions but would still like to be considered, or if you have additional questions, please send an email with your resume and headshot attached to Dave Dorrell, General Manager, or call 770-964-8575 ext 107.
