Auditions for 2024 are over.
Please watch our website for upcoming auditions in the future.
Each season we look for actors and musicians of all body types, gender identities and experience to join our acting company - specific roles available are peasants, villains, merchant class villagers (think shopkeepers and the Mayor of Newcastle) and members of the Royal Court. Acting experience is great, but we'll train you! Any special skills? Juggling? Improv? Let us know!
Musicians - please come prepared to play two selections, one from the Renaissance time period and another of your choosing in the Celtic vein. Actors - if you have a monologue we'd love to hear it. Be ready to improv!
Everyone - Please dress comfortably and be ready to move, be goofy, and have fun!
What to Expect
Auditions will consist of several components - A cold read, character acting audition, and a brief interview. If you have a performance talent or skill, please come prepared to show it off! If you have a prepared monologue, we would love to see/hear it!
If you play an instrument and would like to audition for a spot as a Festival musician, please prepare a 1-2 minute performance of a renaissance, pirate or Celtic song. If you are a musician in a group, please ensure that all members of your group are with you.
What to Bring
Please bring your headshot and resume if you have one. Wear clothing you can move in - Renaissance costumes are not required.
If you are unable to attend auditions but would still like to be considered, or if you have additional questions, please send an email with your resume and headshot attached to Dave Dorrell, General Manager, or call 770-964-8575 ext 107.
